How to adjust date and time on your Stalker portal

try this its c/p
After doing some reading I found that if you change the server from pool.ntp.org to time.nist.gov and reboot the box and it will show the correct date and time to your setting.

Hello everyone. Thanks a lot for all the suggestions in this thread, I'm having the same issue as some of the users here, but nothing has worked for me yet.
My country is only an option in the inner portal, but not in the portal from my provider (iptvrocket), so I found a country that's in my same time zone as I am and that exits in both country lists. Belize was the only option.
What I have tried from inner and outer portal:

  1. Set the NTP server to: pool.ntp.org (and do a reboot)
  2. Set the NTP server to: 98.143.24.53 (and do a reboot)
  3. Set the NTP server to: time.nist.gov (and do a reboot)
  4. Set the NTP server to my local servers (I'm from Costa Rica): 1.cr.pool.ntp.org for example (and do a reboot)
  5. Unplug my MAG254 and the router for several minutes.
  6. Factory reset.
  7. Change localization to Denver (same timezone as Costa Rica) and retry.

The weather information loads fine, but I'm still on December 31, 1999.
My MAG254 is on version 4.9.22 (0.2.18-r12-254).

Is there any other things to try? Could it be my ISP?

Any help will be much appretiated.

hello,

on my inner portal the time works but not the weather because it lets me choose my city but i cannot save it when it opens the google maps view, on my provider the weather works but not the time and i think thats the reason why i get a channel count on my provider portal but the channel buttons are blank, i dont know what to do. Works like a charm. Thank you!

Just in case if you have the same problem as me then try this.
After doing some reading I found that if you change the server from pool.ntp.org to time.nist.gov and reboot the box and it will show the correct date and time to your setting.
Worked for me.

I've tried all of these options in this thread. All of my times are set as they should be. My time and location are correct on the inner portal and all settings areas. My guide is always 5 hours off though. It was working, a few months ago but for some reason reverted back 5 hours and nothing seems to change it. I've tried offsetting the time by 5 hours and it still has the guide off by 5 hours.
