IPTV66 Getting the guide to work in Stalker?

IPTV66 Help here!
I have a question regarding guides or epg or whatever it is called for different users. I use AVOV boxes and IPTV66 since it began and I can't recall ever having a decent working guide or epg. If there is any information shown on a particular channel it usually is 2-3 hours behind the actual time or it is all together incorrect. I have seen at least a dozen maintenance outages and I can't count how many "our technicians are working on it" comments. Does anyone have a sensible answer as to why IPTV cannot display guides as IKS or FTA does? Is there any other source that can be viewed as to what is showing on a particular sat at any time? I know that viewing is "free" but really it is not enjoyable if you come in the middle of a program or don't know what's on a channel at any time.

AVOV and Mags get the server info directly from the server which hasn't ever been good. If you use Kodi you can at least use some of the other guide options available that seem to be way better. The T1 guide works well from what I have seen as well. I will tell you the other few iptv services I tried the guides provided from the server wasn't great either.
IKS is a totally different ball game and those guides come directly from the sat provider as I'm sure you know.

Can you load Kodi on your AVOV box? I know some models can and some can't.

Yes, I have Kodi loaded but only have Cloud and Exodus apps. I really don't have much experience with Kodi so don't know what to download to watch the same as I do with server.

Hey Pod77 is that all there is to this thread. I felt like you were going to point me in a direction to get service and a good guide. Sorry if I presumed too much.

I don't have IKS but NFPS however, since you do have Kodi installed...why don't you look in the Kodi forum and look in the sub forums for: PVR and Video Addons (Potato TV). If you want a good, reliable guide, there are 3 to choose from: depending if you want just English or English and Spanish, etc. The guides are available with using the PVRs. Simple Client PVR and EPG are providing a good experience for many users, myself included.

Thank you. When he asked me about the server, I thought he was going to tell me how to get same channels with Kodi. I will follow your advice though.
