that said,while true (partly), it would serve all party's interest to be in the know - surely nfps knows about the different possibilities for their customers/endusers of watching using their product (iptv) namely why they knew of the stalker clones being used in the past (not so long ago) and took all those extra security measures as a result - so dont tell me they dont know about the current stalker addon (by Dara i believe) that was tinkered after or during that debacle - they should have had all their ducks in a row - just sayin...how many customers are affected??? hmmm i dare say a good bunch ;)

New upgrade has these issues with the Mag:
Set up button gone, blue move button does not work when used on fav list (seems like channels are locked in number positions)
EPG on favs when selected reverts back to all channels instead of justs favs.
Each channel shows info when scrolled but when selected the info disappears.
Having gone through computer upgrades in my business life it never goes as easily as planned.

I don't know what to say about upgrade. Cannels not working before the upgrade are still not working. Hope now they'll work on not working channels so that I can say good things about the upgrade.

don't think its an upgrade in a true sense, otherwise there wouldnt have been so many issues...for all we know , could be a whole new group taking over and wanted to start on a better footing... could be anything really -

just find it strange that a group of individuals could have been around for so long in this industry and mess something like this up so easily? makes no sense to me,,,just sayin and yes, im speculating - one thing is 100% true we will never know what's what..any one else have a better thought/feedback? im all ears.

You are exactly right -- you are speculating -- and this is not going to be a thread piling one conspiracy theory on top of another.

other than the already known ways to watch iptv via nfps (and to be clear ive been a customer since they started day 1) im struggling to see all those other ways..is there a new way im not aware of? or is this in the future?

read it the day it came out...i dont see where it mentions "new" ways... did you mean new ways to connect to servers ( sorry if i misunderstood) that i would believe -but they have failed, so far..nothing has changed, i wished they had a spokesperson come on here and explain , like when they had when they first strated, then we would know the real truth..that annoucement is vague, pardon my french

not to mention they send peeps to this site for answers how to fix stuff and no one even knows how to fix this mess ..we'd have better luck looking into a crystal ball - most everyone has tried and tried and there is NO real answer... i have yet to see anyone connecting to the p1 platform, im i wrong?

We are glad to announce that our IPTV system has been upgraded to a more
stable and flexible platform that support many other ways to watch our
IPTV services, even without requiring a MAC Address or set-top-box to
authenticate. We will be posting some howto videos showing how to set it
up but in the meanwhile all those users that are not using MAC Address
authentication can go to the Rocket checker
(https://papiao.is/main/search_rocket) and download a playlist or auto
script compatible with:


KODI
Apple TV
VLC
GigaBlue
Engima 2 OE
Dreambox OE
StarLive
Octagon
Ariva

Read this, new upgrade

We have moved to a new platform for the IPTV, first to move is Rocket, anyone getting error, please Reset your IPTV Donation using the Search Rocket in website.

If after the IPTV Reset you keep having problems move to this new portal url: http://p1.iptvrocket.tv/c/

Old domains do a redirect, however some Kodi users or other boxes might have problems.

So try it out!

Yes but you fail to see that the addon Dara and others put together was not supported by them to begin with so why would they make sure it will work with the updates? The supported ways to access the providers is a mag unit, stb emulator or the prv client...just because others use an addon that they like does not mean that it's supported and tested by them. I really don't think they are going to change things around just because some people likevto use an addon..

point taken guys, ill leave it at that...im sure at least one person will agree..then again, not everyone likes those other devices either, im guessing esp since emu was never a great option, a good back-up maybe, but has and will prob always have its issues more than necessary

at least the stalker add on worked better than emu imho

The supported ways to access the providers was a Stb, stb emulator or the prv client...just because others use an addon that they like does not mean that it's supported and tested by them. I really don't think they are going to change things around just because some people use an addon that was never made by them in the first place.. If you want to be up and running without down time switch to one of the supported devices and then your back up and running. Yes it does require a bit of reading but at least you are up and running again. A lot of the people upset over this are resellers because they have to redo boxes and actually have to do some work but hey if you choose to go into business then people should expect to actually do some work without thinking they are going to make "easy/quick" money.... I have read all sorts of stuff online about resellers crying because they are getting calls and have to redo THERE CUSTOMERS boxes. Well tough luck they choose this business period!

I have both the PVR client and the STB setup and have had zero issues with either. I use the STB emulator daily and find it to work great.. Yes you do need to read how up set it up but once it's going it works just fine 👍

i think thats a little unfair, (and im not a reseler) do you really think some of the customers, nfps rakes in from endusers, be it through a reseller or directly have all the means to know all the options? many who buy iptv from nfps relys on getting the product and if that means an addon like stalker? thent hey shoud,support it..otherwise why send endusers to this site for support - i believe they should bear the brunt of this backlash - if they knew this was going to affect the stalker clients then they should be up front with it, not create a mess like this and leave it as oh well, live with it...its not reseller's fault if their endusers lost connection..

have you ever stopped to think, not many peeps care for pvr option? or going out to buy a mag? its not dara' fault nfps never kept them in the loop - and until a fix is found to make stalker work again (if ever), everyone is going to point fingers at nfps, but they will rake it in no matter

good for you, ive been around this for a good while and no way is emu up to snuff,period -like i says stalker addon was way, way more stable, period

i think today is "come to nfps rescue" day... lol

lol, it depends on what method and encoding and formats are used. Some like VLC for instance will crash if a VOD movie is selected. Yes VODs are there with VLC but could be my old laptop I run here si reason for the crashes. They work fine thru Mag and Playlist methods.

Anyway, get to know the perks of certain players with certain Playlists general formats.

This new upgrade is not a peice of crap. The service now allows most any device to receive the service and with better self editing abilities and lots more.
