Rocket Error when tying in MAC to donate for rocket, can I not use nVidia shield?

Fresh noob here. Ok, so I am reading the document to donate to rocket as my first step and I think I am already confused. When I go to donate I type in my MAC of my nVidia Sield TV box and I recieve this error "The following MAC Addresss are invalid. The MAC Address must begin with 00:1A:79 or 00:1A:78 and match with the one configured in your STB. Please verify:". Am I not able to use any other device than the one that requires the mac to start with 00: 1a:79? I see in the tutorial pdf they refer to a MAG254, is that the only device that can be used?

Edit: I'll be more clear, this is the message I receive when trying to donate on the website iptvrocket.is. I am using Kodi 15.2

Make sure you are using kodi 15.2
PVR Client : Stalker Client. NOT Stalker client NFPS
Configure ,Portal 1
Mac Address must start with 00:1A:78.........
Server Address: will be posted with your mac address once you have changed it
Under Advanced
Token: Create a 4 digit number
Serial Number :Create a 12 digit number with a capital letter A-H only
Device ID:Create a 4 digit number. (Different from previous 4 digit number)
Device ID2:Create a 4 digit number. (Different from previous 4 digit number)
Signature:Create a 4 digit number. (Different from previous 4 digit number)

I have struggled to get this service on my Nvidia shield. follow these steps and you will soon be enjoying your service as well .

Ok so i have alot of questions, for one, you say "Mac Address must start with 00:1A:78", obviously my nvidia mac does not start with this...so what do I do just make up a mac address? What mac address do I give to rocket when I donate? Also, the Token, serial number, device id 1&2, and signature, where do I get this information from? Sorry, this is all very confusing to me and I'm reading a ton on here. Also, could you explain this more: "Server Address: will be posted with your mac address once you have changed it", do you mean it will be given to me from iptvrocket.is?

after purchasing your service from itpvrocket. go to there website and find the tab "link my mac address"
you will have to enter your donation code your purchased. you will find this in the confirmation email you received.
if this is your first mac address link. it will look like this 00:00:00:00:00:00
Delete this fake address and create your own. the first 3 sets of digits must start with 00:1A:78 (now make up the last 3 sets of digits to what ever) make sure you write down your mac address you have just created

Now that you have an active mac address . go into your PVR Client "Stalker Client" and go into to the configuration tab.
you are creating your own token,serial number , device id and signature.
These numbers are not assigned

Thank you for the clarification, I will let you know if I have any success. One more question, can you change this mac number at any time if it get hacked or stolen?

Ok, I have everything entered in as:

MAC Address: 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX
Server Address: 1.rocketserver.tv
Auth Credentials: Nothing
Guide: Prefer XMLTV
XMLTV Remote URL: http://nfpsf.epg.ninja
Token: XXXX
Serial Number: XXXXXXXXXXXXX (12 digits)
Device ID: XXXX
Device ID2: XXXX
Sig: XXX
(All different numbers)

All this set and now I receive the error "Unable to load channels". Is there something I'm doing wrong? I was given an IPTV Portal and Servers. Should I be using the Portal instead of the server? Is there a different remote path to use for XMLTV? Are there any Auth Credentials I need to enter in?
