IPTV66 Error msg, "failed to start a common cache"

I keep getting this error msg. ant one have a fix?

The first and simplest thing to do is to close Kodi, shutdown the device and then do a system restart. (Make sure you completely shut down the device.) This will often clear up this issue.

I was getting the same problem . Fixed it by going to settings for commoncache then configure. Changed port numbers from 59995 to 0 as i believe port 0 is always open. Not recieved this error message anymore and all addons working now

hello guys im getting failed to install a dependency errors on f4m tester and get a flix and ive tried everything and when i try to update the common cache it says "update failed" is there any fix for this ? thanx in advance...

The 'failed to start common cache' occurs if you are running multiple kodi (or kodi forks) simultaneously. This is an old thread, bigmannyc, so it may not be a real answer to your particular issue of a failed update.
