I can get this all setup on windows , but my NVidia shield will not load the android plugin. Ive even factory reset twice and went in with iptv stalker and channels load , then the nfps stalker , but then the plugin crashes

used the arm file

am I suppose to see colors in the guide? I don't have ppv nor color... is there a live tv window in this aswell? I only ask because i do not have colors or live window running 1080experence . I only ask because the backdrop for epg.ninja site has a picture of guide with tv window in it

If you're using the same MAC & credentials on both your PC & android box this could well be the reason why you're experiencing problems. If you have two donations you'd have to configure each device separately. Using the PVR Client NFPS, which seems to send a system generated serial number 'behind the scenes' may also be part of your problem. It's for that reason I suggest you forget about using the PVR Client NFPS & either disable it or uninstall it altogether, at least on your android box.

Assuming you have only one donation: you have everything set up on your PC & you know that works, so to set up your android box I'd change MAC address & set up a totally new configuration (serial no/device id's/sig). Forget about the IPTV Stalker Video Addon & PVR Client NFPS - just use the PVR Stalker Client that's already loaded in Kodi (should be either v0.8.3 or v0.8.4) in conjunction with the LIVE TV feature. For any problems setting that up you'll need to post in the relevant section.

It would also be a good idea to clear the Kodi cache (not the data) from your android box settings (you'll probably find it in More Settings>Apps)

As regards the colours in the guide, it's been a while since I used Kodi on Windows, so I don't know the answer, but psycon has answered this in another thread: http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?...the-color-goings&p=77663&viewfull=1#post77663

some of our sources dont provide the required metadata that is used to colorize the guide... many of them though is just kodi not recognizing the metaddata that is there.. i plan to work on the latter, soonish..

As regards live tv window, the image on the epgninja homepage is using a different skin to the default Confluence skin, which shows the current channel being viewed in full backround when in guide view or a preview mini screen in Channel view. The skin used on the epgninja site looks as if it may be Amber skin, so that can lead to confusion, so don't worry about that aspect of things.

EPG Ninja is already included in the latest version of Stalker Client NFPS. Simply install the latest version from http://epg.ninja

Note: if you cannot seem to connect to the epg.ninja site, its because your current client has been trying to connect to the old links non stop and the site has banned your IP.. Dont worry, its only temporary. Just remove the old links from your client, or disable it, or close just kodi for an hour and you will be unbanned..

Note 2: If you have set up the version of Stalker Client that is included with kodi, switching to this version isn't really necessary, you wont gain anything different with it, this is just the easiest way to new users to get up and running

I have a vixo 2 with kodi v15.2. What version of this client will work on my machine?
Thanks in advance, for your response.

It was never set on full from the get-go. I started off with english only and it's still 996 channels. Is that right?

This is with Rocket. I cleared data and restart. It still shows 980+ channels.

The number of channels available changes day-to-day. As far the the guide on PVR Stalker or PVR Stalker NFPS, the number of channels that appear on the full guide depends on if there is data available for that channel, but if you look at the channel list, you should see the full list of all current channels available, with those that may not have a current epq listing, or are omitted if you are using an English only guide. If there are added new channels (not the PPVS), the team does have to research where to get the sources to add to the epg.ninja.

to add what dara has said.. i have been finding that the latest kodi 16 builds show the entire channel list in the guide, regardless of if there is actual data for each channel (will show up, just be blank).. one good thing is now you can select blank channels, something that you could not do in previous versions..

keep in mind, kodi 16 is in alpha, so should be considered not ready for primetime, although i have been running it the past several months without issue... but as it is in alpha, if you have issues with it, please don't discuss them here, just revert to a stable version.

I guess kodi 15.2 show the entire channel list as well. This drastically reduces the speed of the amazon fire stick. There are too many channels to cache, leaving the channel that's currently playing to be pausing, stuttering etc..

use the channel manager and delete/disable channels/ you will not watch. there is also a tool for windows you can use to make it easier.. you will have to use adbfire to pull to the tv29.db from your userdata folder

You're referring to this?

Code:

If so, thank you! I will try that out.

make sure your antivirus is off for me wont load files to stick when on for abdfire

I use cmd and adb methods so it's not an issue. I do however find the group/channel manager in kodi more easier to work with. I just created a group and added the channels thru there.

Problem is the time shift for me is wrong by -1 hour. It is as default but I'm in the Central US area. What should I input in the time zone?

Thanks.

OK this guide is driving me crazy I am running KODi 0.8.4 Client and my guide is 2 hour behing I changed my time zone to America/New_York with now no url in the remote field and prefer provider is this correct . I am on the east coast and my CPU clock is correct. I am running on Rocket. Service is working great but the guide is just too far off to be usable. What in the world have I got wrong:confused:

from post 1,, first sentance. just a thought....

As i stated I am running the newest version 0.8.4 of the pvr stalker. And I get a guide but the guide is several hours off. Just trying to determine if I had the provider setting wrong due to I had been using the long url link at one time.

I have latest and I'm off by -1.00 hour. Stalker client is in beta mode so I guess there are issues to resolve along the way....

For those who are off by an hour using the "NFPS" version, make sure your device timezone is correct. Just a guess, but since the epg is created based on GMT/UTC, it in itself is not off, as most people find it spot on, no matter what is in the "time zone" setting.

I am on eastern standard time located in NC. Using America/New_York in pvr stalker 0.8.4 running on pc with correct time zone set for eastern time. KODI displays the correct PC time. Still my guide appears to be an hour off in other words what is showing to be playing now in the guide will actually be playing in a hour. And what is actually playing was in the guide an hour behind.

hrmm.. What OS are you guys on..
what timezone are you in?
What timezone is your device set to in settings>region/time (or something similar).. device settings, not kodi settings..

I am using Rocket. I do realize that modifying the TV29.db will revert back to original file on server if URL of server channel listing is still inputed?
I am in Central Time Zone (CST). On a Fire Box and Fire Stick. Changed time zone from within the device settings as well..
