Click Stalker EPG Updater...it is a selection/option

When you get to the ensuing menu, click Disable

Ilan, I just tried your #2 option and I only am seeing 8 channels listed on the guide..
London Live, ITV 1-4, TG 4, 4 Seven, Channel 4...

I've cleared the channel guide and channels from the settings, deleted the epg xml files out of the pvr.stalker folder...
Still only giving me those 8 channels.. I don't have much hair left to pull out so I'm trying to keep calm lol

I hear ya...

It is always hard to fathom what's going on with each situation, as I'm sure you're aware. I decided to reload the channels and guide to see if anything was obvious from my end. Nothing turned up... The channels all loaded and the guide is fully populated.

By your post, I surmise you performed Condition 2 steps 1, 4, 5 and 6...

which will usually get things back in gear. Sometimes, though, a reboot of the device addresses problematic situations. In worst case scenarios, an IPTV Reset can perform an even greater miracle.

At the moment, I'm getting quite a bit of buffering, which is seldom the case for me, so things could be in a less than stellar state. Give it a bit of time. Perform the aforementioned steps from time-to-time. Keep me apprised. Hopefully, things will straighten out. If not, we'll probe further.

VOD movies are not available from within the PVR Stalker client. With a Kodi platform, you would need to use the IPTV Stalker Plus video add-on or Couch Potato's fork of the original video add-on. You can peruse the Kodi > IPTV Stalker (Video Add-on) section for more information.

Many will suggest Kodi movie add-ons will give you a wider array of movie options than will be afforded by the VOD section. I'd agree with that obsevation.

Yes I've tried all those steps, including rebooting my device before enabling it... and doing an iptv reset... all channels work (that I've tried) which in the last few days are a miracle unto itself... Just the xml file isn't loading fully.. It downloads to the pvr.stalker directory as the file is just over 13MB's.. and the epg cache file is there (which is really small, under 100kB)... Not sure what else to try. I wish someone would do a db /xml file to get the ivue 2 epg working without having to save each channel to favorites and point the ivue2 guide to each of the streams... really time consuming lol I'd do it and post it here...

I'm sure anyone would agree with that assessment. I've been loading the FireTVGuru build on my fire sticks and my tablets. Only a few things I've not been able to find.. Family Law with Dixie Carter is my white whale apparently.

Well, I've been trying to dissuade people from using the updater, at least for the moment. The Remote URL has been more "responsive" over the past few days. Check the original thread to give that a whirl. I suspect you will have immediate success.

O yes….thanks Ilan….your instructions worked.

@dj…..you have to scroll to the stalker client updater and bring up the contextual menu….on my minix remote it is a button with 4 horizontal white lines on it….clicking this button will bring up 'add-on information' and 'configure'….just highlight the former and click it…it will then give you the option to disable.

Just google 'how to bring up contextual menu' for the device you are using.

Hey Ilan, I got the epg working by opening the stalker config xml open on dreamweaver, pasted the long form URL on github to the xml and it works now.. Haven't the clue to why it doesn't work with the short form nfps.epg.ninja for me but I got it working.. So long as the xml doesn't move locations I should be good.

This is what I pasted in...

No channels have programme info on my box today. I've got a mag254 and run a paid for IPTV subscription that comes from Malta. Anybody know how I could try and fix it myself or does the guy who sells the service have to do it at his end? Thanks in advance for any replies.

This forum supports Rocket, IPTV66 and NFPS services...To my knowledge we don't support or talk about other providers. Not sure which service that would come from Malta... I'd contact the guy who sold you the service.

Mine loaded fine this morning, so I'm not sure what went on at your end. A number of things could cause the (hopefully momentary) disappearance. If yours didn't load initially, you can try reloading...

(1) TV > General: Disable TV, (2) TV > General: Clear Data, (3) TV > Guide: Clear Data, (4) TV > General: Enable TV
