Yes I do
Hi NFPS Team,

Encoding was recently changed from SD MP3 to SD MPEG 2 Audio. Any channels that is flagged as SD MPEG 2 AUDIO are totally unwatchable. Constant freezing, pixels are breaking up, audio is dropping out etc

The following channels have been effected and are presently unwatchable.

Channel 112 HGTV EAST
Channel 135 BBC America
Chanel 150 Fox Sports 1
Channel 152 MLB Network
Channel 153 NHL Network
Channel 159 NBC Sports Network

Please rectify this problem as soon as advance. Thanking you in advance.

Kodi 6 Mbps

HGTV was like that for me and I was trying to change the audio to stereo pass through then it all froze, backed out to the channel list then when I went into HGTV all freezing, pixels and what not had fixed itself. I noticed it had said 1080 mpeg 2 and now its back to sd mpeg 2

I have the same problem. I hope they will change back to mp3, after the change none of my channels play properly. All channels freeze after 3 seconds and image stays frozen. I paid the premium subscription so I wouldn't have to deal with these issues.

Same problem here , and it is weird it works on my android tablet but in my android TV box I face with black screen and only hear the sound with buffering on above mentioned channels( MPeg2 audio channels)

me too guys, I have an android box, having channels freezing since 2 days, any solution please, I tried everything, I even formatted the android box, the service is working well with other devices and with some channels like sky uk channels, all other channels are freezing!!!!

Really? I don't see any HD channels, why do they have to do this during the holiday time? Thanksgiving is ruined.

I don't men to jump on you or anything but you seem to be blaming a bad thanksgiving on tv. With the thousands of methods of streaming what you want aren't you being a little harsh? Plus you should always have a back up even if its only an antenna sitting on your tv.

The last couple of days a lot of channels has been force closing kodi on 2 of my fire tv 4k boxes like The Disney Channel, the premium channels but my Nvidia Shield is unaffected no force closes on it. I'm using stalker client 0.8.4 on all 3 of my boxes with 75 mbps internet. Had no issues till recently

Yep, happening to me as well. Just got a new 4k Fire TV, installed Kodi and ran iptv and every channel freezes video playback after 3 seconds, only the audio plays. Then Kodi crashes when I press stop or try to back out. It's very odd considering iptv on my 1st gen Fire TV and on my mobile device still run perfectly. No problems at all. Is there some sort of work around to fix this? If it has to do with the audio encoding with MPEG 2, is there a way to change the audio settings to make channels watchable at least? Somebody please help.

No solution as yet for us 4k users glad I have 2 Nvidia Shields, no issues with those

ISSUE FIXED:
In your Kodi Video Acceleration settings (only visible in Advanced or Expert Level) try disabling Media Codec & libstagefright
Thanks Eureka for this solution .

Hello, i'm a new user, i'm on NFPS since 2 weeks, and like the most of you, it doesn't work anymore. Buffering each 2 or 4 seconds on AMC, Starz, Cinemax...
Sky is ok because MP3 or AAC audio.
I'm on a 8 month Mac Mini 8 gb of ram (a beast). And kodi last version, with the pvr stalker client.

I also have IKS66 on IPTV stalker client, same problem, but less lagging on AMC for example. It's a little bit better.

Anyway, i tried the "fix issue" (disabling acceleration) It's still the same. I got no option for codec, it's only "acceleration"... I put off. No change.

A bit disappointed paying 100 bucks and 2 days after not working.... Issues and problems can occurs, but it's not normal during so long....

Can't they simply turn back to the old streaming way which was perfect ?

Best regards guys

The MPeg 2 encoded channels still have a jerky picture even after disabling hardware accelerators.

disabling hardware accelerators fix the issue for those boxes faced with black screen or stop the picture after couple sec , otherwise this change cant give you better quality of picture because they have downgraded quality of source stream
