Rocket Confused on Rocket Renewal

I am confused of the renewal process and looking for advice taking into consideration the current problems

My donation has expired so do I renew the expired donation or order a new donation

I understood that one show renew donations if they have more than 8 donations..any thing less than that should be a NEW donation

I only have 2 donations to worry about

Also if I go with a new donation to I have to unlink my MAC address etc

please advise

me i tell you to get new donation but big thing is can you get on to change the mac address to all 00000000 from old one if you run mag or avov could say when adding new mac address it already exists

all I am trying to ask is what is the best practice to order a donation number..

Should one renew or order and new one and more specific how does one handled the old Mac address since my Mac address is tied to my old donation

you indicate renew and then there should no Mac address issues but again folks are saying not to renew

just would like to get the process nailed down and correct the first time

If I understand one correctly if the donation number has expired one should purchase new but if it is still active one should renew..

Would like to know for next time so I do not let the donation expire

You can do either way. If you going to renew you can do just that it may take a bit longer but it should work . if you going to start with a new donation, the I suggest to unlink whatever you have on the old donation back to all zeros and start fresh with a new donation and link back your device to new donation. But make sure you unlinked your device from old donation first and ll zeros on Mac address.

I renewed my donation today and was up and running in less than 5 minutes..

I noticed on their site today which was not there yesterday that one can renew 30 days before and 30 days after expiration of ones donation

My donation had expired (still within their 30 day ruling)and had to log back in and input a Mac address

It appears they have got the bugs worked out
