Rocket Configuring the OFFICIAL ROCKET ANDROID EMULATOR

Help for Rocket IPTV Server.
Nothing happens, still the same story
Thanks for you help Sir

It's really not that hard.
I just opened it up for the first time and I figured it out within about 5 seconds.

Hover top right corner, click the little dots.
If you see a screen with volume etc, then just go top right corner and click/press in there and it'll open up the menu and you go to settings from there.

Now for my question, in the OP, it says put in your MAC address that is linked to your donation...
I'm assuming the mac of my MAG won't suffice here?

My MAG's mac has 00:1A:79 and not 78.
I want to be able to test this on an android box separately.
If this is to prevent people using it on multiple devices at the same time, then I understand.

This version of the emulator assumes the MAC starts with 78, so you'll have to do the change to your linked mac to use this. You can use the open version of the STBemu with the 79 prefix, be aware that you might run into authentication issues if the server happens to accept machine id information from your MAG, and not match that information on the STBemu. (and I don't know how to do that. :( )

Cheers Dara.
I switched over to the open one shortly after I posted and got an auth error as I'm assuming it sees it as a different device etc.
It'd be nice to be able to get it working so I can have it ready to go in two rooms, rather than shuffling my MAG around the house.

Is the 78 thing on the emulator intentional to prevent abuse or is this an oversight?

The "78" thing was to help the MAG users out from getting unintended interference by non-mag users who just so happen to create a MAC that matches theirs. MAGs can't change their MACs.

As I posted, I don't know what you can do to match the machine info that is passed by the MAG. You could try to see what the serial number is for your MAG, and enter that into to the serial number on the STBemu.

I haven't tried the 6.12 but on the 6.11 I was having the same problem as the other guy. ...I hovered the mouse on the top right but nothing ever popped...when I use the firestick menu button the menu would pop up bUT I could not select anything.....it wouldn't let me go pick anything. I hope the 6.12 fixes this issue.

this works great. for those still having problems with the menu not showing. press menu on fire remote. then connect a mouse and select that way. this works with fire tv. maybe you could pair a mouse to the fire tv stick?
now on to my question. fire remote doesnt have any numbers so how would i input password for adult channels?
answered my own question, sort of. but I did find a fix for the menu thing. use fire tv app on your smartphone.

I downloaded stb emulator. All good.
Opened up, went to profile, made sure url is good.
My mac is same as my donation info.
But all I get is blue screen, nothing is loading.
Am I missing something, help required.

I bought some dual core android boxes at a liquidation center for $25 to give my family some Xmas TV - installed the emulator on one- simple and flawless setup. Thanks to all work worked on the emulator and guide- now all I have to do is buy 10 codes next year for the family!

Ok guys I'm currently using kodi 15.2 And iptv stalker client for my iptv. It's ok but kinda sketchy all the time. Sometimes channels load other times they don't. If I use the channel guide then all the streams start buffering. I've signed up for the mega app, downloaded the most current emulator and I'm about to go through the set up. If I'm successful should I then disable iptv stalker through kodi? Should I disable it prior to? Does it matter?

Ok this is super annoying man! Downloaded, installed the iptv stb apk for rocket. Went into the settings as asked changed the Mac address. What else needs to be done here? I just get contact provider to register this device. You'd think you could find a decent set up guide after shelling out your money....
