NFPS / Private Configuring the OFFICIAL NFPS ANDROID EMULATOR

IPTV Private Server (NFPS)
I think I understand. You just started the app without configuring it, right?

On a PC android emulator, hit the F1 button, on an android go to the top right corner for the 3 dot menu, or use your menu button, and select Settings, and click on Portal to edit. Change the MAC that you will see on the first page of the settings, and exit out of the application. Start it, and you should be up and running if you entered a valid mac. There might be some other configuration for the video player depending on your install.

Thanks dara. If that's the case then it's not possible to do this on the Fire TV and perhaps some other Android-based devices as it's not possible to access settings due to the limited options given to users. Here's the options that I get for the app:

There's no option to configure the settings for the app just like any other app on the Fire TV. An in-app settings page would have been ideal but I'm not too fussed as I prefer to use Kodi due to its integration with the rest of my media.

Thanks big dady, that thread was very helpful. I've got one issue though. The mac address I am using is in the format: 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. When I enter my mac it says "Invalid MAC address format!". I'm guessing that it requires me to enter in the 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX format? Does this necessitate me going into the papiao website and changing my mac so that it is in the 00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX format?

Thanks

I have an android tv box and the app picks up my mac address correctly and with the "78" in it but I just get a spinning bar...no channels load up. I can get to settings once I hover over where the three dots should be then they appear. My mac is registered properly and it works in Kodi okay. Any suggestions?

Check the MAC you entered in the emultor. If you didn't do this correctly, you will not load channels.

the emulator picks it up automatically and it is correct....and it has the "78"....what's the best way to make sure I have a real donation from the reseller I bought it from? When I use the mac address checker it does say that it is in use...can I be sure it is in use for me and has not been stolen?

You could reset the MAC to all zeros by clearing the entry and click submit. It should update correctly, then reenter the checker and re-enter your old mac and submit. If it says "MAC already exists" then someone is using it.

sorry to sound dumb but reset the MAC where?... in the emulator when I try to change the mac say to "79" it comes back right away saying it's not valid and changes it to 78. Even in Kodi with the IPTVStalker addon and the PVR client using the "78" does not work... I have to use 79 in Kodi 15 Isengard...does this make sense?
thx again :)

You have to use the 78 number for all non-stbs, which include the emultors and Kodi. The emulator is coded to prevent the use of 79. So, in the donation checker, change the 79 to 78, and change that mac in the Kodi add-ons and the emulator.
