yes
I changed Internet providers today and now I am completely down. After the switch, I performed an IPTV Reset via the donataion checker. I logged in to check everything and it worked until I changed the chanel. I did another IPTV reset, but now I am completely down. I changed portals from portal 2 to portal 6. Again, I was able to log in tune to a single chanel and as soon as I changed chanels everything went down. Any help would be appreciated.

I do not need to see your code just yet.

I do see you have the p3 URL... is that the same as what it shows with your code at the papiao website ?

Are you using Perfect Player app to play that Playlist or other app?

log back on to your code and ensure that the Country lock has not changed.
In fact while you are there, change that to All Countries and see if that changes anything with the channels.
Do not try a reset while it is set on All Countries, it will not work.
Just change it and then reboot the receiver or the app and then check channels.

I am using Perfect Player. The donation checker has me on portal 3. Doing the all countries and restart produced teh same results as before. I was able to play one chanel and as soon as I changed the chanel, completely down.

there was a member a few days ago that had this exact problem.
I do not know if he was able to get passed the problem or not. I thought the All Country change was the fix but I prolly remembered that wrong.

Next question...
Are you using a VPN service ?

No to the VPN.

okay so, what about trying a VPN. Do you have access to this function?
Look for a free trial version and test with.
You can add vpn thru your router's admin panel if allowable by ISP... or if your android receiver has the function maybe?

Do try that if you can.

You may be able to see that I have been trending toward some kind of ISP issue :)

So, I tried a vpn. That didn't work at all - no channels would play. I tried connecting my device to my mobile hotspot which is a different ISP. Same result as before, one channel plays then everything goes down as soon as I change channel. I used the donation checker and changed my donation#, updated my playlist accordingly. Same results as before, one channel plays change channel and down. I came to a solution. I installed IPTV Smarters and used the Xtremecodes api, put the url in and my donation. That has been working for over an hour now on multiple channels. I moved away from IPTV Smarters a couple of years ago because I like the Perfect Player interface much better. I have no idea why the playlist in Perfect Player stopped working after I changed ISPs. Bummer because I prefer Perfect Player, but at least I am able to watch again.

good work :)

I never had this sort of issue with Perfect Player before and I have used it often.
There is a possibility that a different version of Perfect Player may also fix the issue.
I am just thinking out loud but it could be a possibility.
What version do you have ?

Code:
http://niklabs.com/downloads/

version I have been using for some time now is v1.5.0b1

I think the 'b' stands for beta

A free version may have adds or things like that and when switching the channel it may kick something in that tries to display an add and things get confused and is why your channels drop. How the ISP change is involved in all this is a mystery too, but may be related.
But again, this is just me thinking out loud and I may be off-track with my thoughts :)

The version I use is a free version and works fine.

I had used ES File Explorer for long time some time ago but then that app got sold a few times and beaten up lots with adds and other stuff.
When I used them later version, I had issues many times with adds or updates to things I did not even have... them interruptions even closed down the explorer a few times.

So is reasoning why I suggest this as a possibility.
I am not saying PP is doing anything like this, but even a few adds or other directives can cause issues on an android that is looking for a certain change of channel, but gets interrupted with these other things.
The instant a break in communication is detected (like a channel change), then an add or other is initiated and that is what messes this up.
That is this culprit

I tried PP v1.5.ob1 and nothing plays. I also tried loading the playlist into IPTV Smarters and nothing plays. However, IPTV Smarters is working with Xtreme Codes API. I also tested both these setups on another android device and got the same results. This one has me stumped. So for now, I have been using IPTV Smarters with the Xtreme Codes API setup.

I am using 1.5.9.2. I use it with the same account on 2 different ISP's.

What I notice about your setup and diagnostic steps is as follows;
-You are using m3u playlist format instead of XC (Xtreme Codes API), to setup your login method.
-You did not mention if your ISP Lock on your Account settings is Disabled (or had it enabled).

FYI, with PP ... to use XC, enter the generic m3u w/options playlist url, but select XC format.

My internet provider lock is disabled, country lock set to United States. I have sucessfully used the m3u setup in PP 1.5.9.2 for over 2 years with my previous ISP. The only thing that changed on my end was my ISP. Once the new ISP was up and running, I did an IPTV reset as instructed in the Donation checker and bam nothing worked. I only went to the XC setup when I could not find any other way to get myself up and running again.

Have You spoke with Customer Service with the ISP...?!? Tell them You need access for Your Android STB to catch up on the News as Your OTA Antenna doesn't give You the News Channel You Want...!!

I mentioned it just in case you did not know about using XC login with PP.
You did say you prefer PP, and you did say XC setup was working with the other App!
