NFPS / Private Channel numbers not updating when you change a channel

Using a MAG254, same thing happens on more than one box, I have several. When I change a channel the channel changes but the channel number stays on the last channel viewed. For example, I am watching ESPN and type 300,the channel number stays on 140 but the video displays HBO. Check out the link I created a video and shared through Dropbox.

This has been on going issue .
They say Mvas may or not fix.

Mvas have nothing to do with Mag254 box.

So it only happens with mag 254s?

No it happens to Stb emu as well

Yea I felt like it didn't always do that, nevertheless it's probably one of my pet peeves to the mag 254 box
