yes i do
I just got a new route or whatever you call it. I am trying the one month to see how it goes.
I used iptv66.com

I find that none of the guides work. I did find that using just the iptv simple client and a m3u file got somewhere. I have tried some of the channels about 5% of them work.

Do I need to be using a vpn, or use a different m3u file? I'm in the US and would like a playlist with just USA channels or a way to filter the ones I want.

Potato TV did not work. PVR Stalker did not work.

So far only the local m3u file works but only about 5 channels I have tried work.

Anyone who can help I would greatly appreciate it.

check my signature shown below, the top two linked threads to be precise.
Look thru the first linked thread for many answers, including how to edit Playlist thru VLC player or even thru notepad which is on everyone<s PC or Laptop :)

Thanks! I will try some of the others. I did get Potato TV to work but only 2 channels have worked so far. I've clicked on at least 40 so far. I thought the paid IPTV was the way to have all working channels? Are there some that just wont work or am I running into some type of blocking by my ISP? Should I use a VPN and if so, what country should I be connected to in order to get USA channels to work?

There are a lot of channels I would never use. Is there a way to edit the list so only the ones I want to display are there? I assume I can only do that if I use a M3U file player?
There are a few channels that dont play with the xtream plugin but most work nicely.

yes you can edit your Playlists.
Check expatters recent posts on the subject or others.
But if you look on the main board here on site and look for the VLC forum section. There is a sticky thread in there that explains an easy way to edit your playlists.
You can even make multiple playlist files from just the one original Playlist.
You can have one for all the VODs and one for all the LIVE TV channels, for example.

The playlists do not matter today. None of the channels work today. So far I'm not seeing the benefit of the paid service. So far its only worked one time with only one addon.
What am I missing here?

Will those Playlists be able to import into Xstream-codes? Or will they be VLC only?
Check the top two links in my signature shown below.

Just grabbed fresh playlist last night. It was sitting on my desktop. So fastest way for me to check is with VLC
So I opened VLC Player and dragged and dropped the Playlist onto it and tried half a dozen channels and they working.

If you have a VPN service, then try using that.
If it works then turn it back off and next would be to get into your router admin browser web-page.
Take a look at the set reservations for devices on the network. If they are fixed IPs, then change them and test for results.

expatter was explaining all this to me one night.
You can check some more on this and other things involved, thru his posts linked in the thread below...

all is working fine to me the Vod and the channels using potato tv also make sure you have a fixed ip all mac are lock to the ip i have tested it my self for example if you are on wifi and setup you donation and mac on wifi it will lock to that ip so went i change it to ethernet my channel dont work because it change the ip simple fix just set it as you want it wifi or ethernet and do a mac reset reboot your device and you are done

Right now I'm using xtream-codes. I didnt want to download a playlist often so I assumed the other methods would update to the latest list for me. I will certainly try the VPN and see if that helps. I am not using reservations at this time. I used to, but dont now. I did reduce the DHCP lease time so they would have to check in more often and if they are off, then they might get a different IP with a short lease.

I started over with a new install of Kodi 17.1. I installed only Potato TV with PVR Simple Client. All channels work. I'm not show how you get the EPG or recording yet.

I installed Specto and Xodus and Potato. So far everything works and this is without a VPN.
