There were some jumps that were nicely executed and it certainly kept the viewer interested. But movies like this usually head in one direction... This one, on the other hand, brought in something refreshing.
Ultimately, Bolstered by an intriguing premise, brilliant performances and ever changing storyline, 10 Cloverfield Lane never becomes boring and never fails to intrigue, and is arguably one of the best Sci-Fi films of the last few years.
Yeah well the scares come quite often as scenes will linger and bring a huge sense of tension and get you when your not expecting it bringing some very frightening scenes.
"The Martian" is a fictional story, but is in some ways Apollo 13-redux. It starts with a gripping scene where, post-disaster, the hero is forced to operate on himself: gripping, yes, but also not a scene that needs to be set on Mars.
