At this point in time I find there's no comparison between iks and iptv when it comes to picture quality and freezing. Iks is MUCH better on both accounts. Maybe its just the channels a wish to watch, but so far I have found iptv freezing typically every 15 or 20 seconds and not really...

Tennis channel quality has gone from 360p to 576p, which is awesome. Unfortunately when we tried to watch the US Open last night, it was freezing every 20-30 seconds or so making it unwatchable. I hope all these freezing issues can get worked out.

Can't see how this should matter? Wouldn't you expect that whatever time zone the channel is played from, the corresponding guide would also be shown? Hopefully just part of test mode...

Insufficient info. Mx player on what? If you have android box or windows PC, you need STB emulator + maybe bluestacks. Do some reading on this forum....

Some are 360, some are 480, some are 576. Also worth noting, you can have a channel broadcast in 1080p, but if the source was only taped in 240, then it will look like crap regardless. If your using mx player , go to MENU> TOOLS> PROPERTIES for resolution.

Ive checked a bunch of the new channels, and the ones I checked are all 640 x 360 resolution.

Ok I got it now, thanks. I read the $108 /$38 before but was a little slow in my math. i checked the Rocket site and see that a single donation is now $70 so it all adds up. So it looks like I can just go ahead and get my new rockets, then pay the $38 upgrade fee when it comes available. Easy peasy.

So it will be $38 to upgrade your IKS subcription to IPTV. Does this mean that once you pay your $38 you will have both IKS and IPTV or will you then only have IPTV? I personally will want both systems, regardless of how its packaged.

Im using STB emulator / Mx player on android. Select - Menu (3dots) - Tools - Properties.

According to my system the resolution of the SD channels being tested is actually 1024 x 576. This is better than standard SD which is only 480p. It would be great if all the SD channels are going to be this resolution although Im not sure how they can do this if the source is only SD quality...

The quality hasnt changed. Its still 1024 x 576, which is definitely better than standard SD. I think Ill start a new thread on this.
