Not sure if I'm still a little drunk this morning LOL, but hasn't the Zx been out for a while?

I ask because I was in front of one last night (Global Edition).

lmao...I do not think them beers could have clouded your vision that much :)

This version Captain has here is the North American version.

It's been a slow start I tells ya.

I kinda thought that, but i guess that leads to my next question does it have internal wifi and bluetooth like it's euro counterpart?

I know the NA version of the z7+ doesn't include this and comes with external wifi adapter, does this NA version share the same fate?

Thanks for that 4me2c, I had previously looked at that before, with that being said the specs listed don't indicate if the box even has WiFi/Bluetooth, just that it has Ethernet. So I gather more details are slowly coming out, and things will be much clearer over the next week.

I'm quite familiar with the specs of the Euro/Global version, and "technically" they should be the exact same, but when you compare the release of the North Amercian version of the Z7+ against the Euro/Global version the biggest standout was the lack of internal WiFi/Bluetooth. Which is now the Dreamlink T2 Prime. The ZX is technically the comparable to the Dreamlink T2W.

I personally own the Dreamlink T1, T1 Plus, and NA Formuler z7+. I have helped others with the original T2, and Formuler zX (Euro/Global).

So only the Captain or Crazed can actually answer my question at this point once they have all the details.

It does have internal wifi and bluetooth.
I edited Original Specs to reflect

Thanks Captain and Crazed for the updated information. The spec page for the ZX hasn't been updated however.

Do you know guys know when the Dreamlink websites will open up orders for these? I just looked before posting.

As the site isn't totally updated quite yet. Main page shows that T2 Prime is in stock, but then the page that it brings you too then says it's for pre-order, if you click the pre-order description it redirects the the T2W, but if your click on the T2 Prime image it goes to correct thing. Dlite+ isn't listed nor is the ZX.

They are on delivery. Will be selling this weekend

they sellin those boxes on ebay for 2 months already

I've known that these have been available for a while, the individuals I know that have the Global version of the ZX got them from a seller who imported them (NA adapter converter for euro plug), and I believe the NA version comes with a straight NA plug (need confirmation). With that being said, if you looked at the pricing of the ZX on ebay, you'll be paying WAY more (is more ways than one) and this is based on CDN currency. Locally the price for the same device seems to be much reasonable and on point.

And............
Hope the sellers stand by the warranty.;)

Warranty is key with all devices, always best to go through official channels for this alone.

N/A versions do come with the N/A power cable, no converter needed :)

Incidentally, do you know why the power plugs are differnt for euro and N/A ?

It has to do with the hertz

at a certain range, hertz can kill a human... Euro never did do anything to protect the humans from this possible catastrophy, but N/A did.. Is why you will see Euro power outlets putting out hertz at a unrestricted levels, while n/a restricts that to save levels

That's good stuff right there, we need to live... FOREVER lol

Other then potential death, I would say it's kind of a nice adapter to have if your do frequently visit Euro countries.

yea, but never ever put your tongue on it, like we use to do with 12 v batteries
