Of course some things would be different, such as the specs and etc, but the options and setups should be the same in most cases and similar in other cases.

What's all the Buzz about ??

BuzzTV XRS4500 arrived today.
I was gonna get right into it and fire this bad boy up... But low and beyond I opened up the box and was greeted with yet another finely package device and accessories. The XR4000 that I unboxed awhile ago, was a nice surprise too when I first opened it.
This time thou there is padding built in to the box lid itself and also the cardboard insert to hold the buzzTV device in place, is now no longer made of cardboard but of a foam type material built for impact absorption. this is a great touch to help ensure shipping goes 'smoothly' ... (did you see what I did there?) :)
And it has a User Manual which also shows a picture and a legend of the RCU and it's functions.

So anyway, I will simply post a quote from the XR4000 thread of same name, and then sit back and enjoy the fine packaging that went into this device.
Nice job yet again guys :)

The XR4000 arrived here today.
I opened the shipping package and then opened the box and .... well I had to stop there.
The way they packed this box with the STB and it's accessories is very impressive. So much so that I have not yet unpacked it further.... lol

So no review or tutorials just yet on this ... I gotta enjoy the packaging just a little longer :)

Stay tuned for when next I open the individual packaged accessories and get this baby fired up !

Your right the packaging was Impressive.Wait till you see the remote at night.
I was about to pack the remote away back in the box and just use the XR4000 remote.

At first I had thought it was the exact same remote control unit as the XR4000 has.
I had not taken the XRS4500 remote out of the plastic yet as I compared the two remote side by side and they looked identical except a minor detail with a couple buttons.
But then before packing away the User Manual I looked thru it more carefully and there is an explanation on how to pair the remote and also that is is a 'Back-lite' remote.
Touch any button on the RCU and the back light comes on instantly.
Love that feature.
Now I can watch TV in the dark :)

Yep i only watch iptv before going to bed and the light really is a good feature. The remote also has to be linked to the box.I didn't try the 4000 remote to see if it would work.:)

Both of the Remote Controls are interchangeable.

XRS4500 BT-100 RCU works on the XR4000 model (without pairing BlueTooth).
XR4000 RCU works with the XRS4500 (without pairing BlueTooth).
