Hello I have a avov viox 2 the power led light (blue) went out. I tried to contact the site sponsor that's where I bought it from. It's been more than a week and I still haven't gotten a response. What should I do?

Have the same problem mikey432. The box still works fine without the light on mine anyways. I contacted Avov and tried two different "solutions" they provided. Still have the same problem. I haven't heard back since.

This is a copy/paste from the response I got about this issue.

No the LED is not covered under warranty. The unit has to be completely defective with no physical damage.

Led's are one of the most reliable electronic components... you can see the modern trend to replace filament lamps with the more efficient LED type. If you connect one the wrong way round it is not damaged... just will not light up. But they can be destroyed easily if the series current limiting resistor is too small in value.... allowing the LED to consume more current than it is designed for. As two peeps in this thread have the same problem I would be very suspicious that the current limiting resistor is not the correct value.

Their disclaimer does not hold water... it's a bad design and it's inside the unit so out of the end user's control. My 2 cents.
