I'm trying to understand how bad codes can circulate .................

I read the warning in this Forum about FRAUDULENTLY ACQUIRED CODES.....How would a reseller obtain FRAUDULENTLY CODES in the first place...since there is only ONE Source...(Papaio)???

If you bought your code directly you have nothing to worry about but if you bought it from a reseller then you might need to check your code. the short explanation is that a specific reseller wasn't the most honest person causing this issue.

I just wanted to know what the reseller could have done to Papaio to have been dishonest...............

Like did Papaio give a reseller a line of credit ..and the reseller never paid..........what?...just guessing here.........And if a reseller was the cause of this problem...why not name him ...so people can be warned........Obviously Papaio wants to deal with resellers or else they would not sell codes in bulk..............

the reseller bought 100 codes and sold them for dirt cheap and then asked for a charge back from his bank in a month

just one of many ways

OK now that makes sense .........................So if codes are 4 month old and then became deactivated.....A chargeoff would have been noticed long before 4 months went by.......So why are codes that old being deactivated.................

really not too sure... but i think within papiao, you can sell say 20 donations buy another 20 sell those... then you buy 200, sell for a steal of deal and ask for a charge back... the first 40 donations can be 6 months old but attached to the same email and the same account in papiao so when the charge back occurs, that kills the whole account

not sure on this just a guess

look you been warned i dont hear to much about anyone loosen codes or mac address from re seller its just to tell you if you did why i know a member lost a full yr but the guy made it up to him lucky he did that the only case i know of
