I keep hearing about it being prudent to run a VPN to watch movies on KODI. I run a box that has Android 7.1 and I cannot find anywhere to activate a VPN. I have seen other boxes with this option. Does KODI have an app that will enable a VPN?
Have been doing some checking around and I have found that Plenty of these VPN's can be had from the Google Play Store...! Just How Safe can One be if getting Apps from the Google...?!?
Luckily this is Kodi and Not IPTV...!
They may not be Google Apps but if You get it thru the Google Play Store They get Your Info...! Kinda Ironic now isn't it...?!?

once you load the vpn apk of your choice you go to apps and select that vpnI've never used, or setup a VPN connection so my assumptions may be wrong, but...
If you use a VPN and setup a STB (with Kodi) and also use it for IPTV, how do you not go through the VPN for IPTV, but use the VPN for other Applications?
Just for my general knowledge!
Is there an App that you setup with an Application White List, or something like that?
Thanks
