Hi
My Mag254 was working fine except a lot off freezing so I changed the port on my TV ( Sony LCD Projection ) and the screen had funny colors and said unsupported signal, please check device output.
Tried everything unplugging and rebooting and as suggested also turning off and holding down setup menu button, and plugging power back still get the infomir screen loading and then the funny colors screen and same unsupported signal, please check device output .
Has no one come across the same problem and been able to resolve it?

My friend is having the same problem. Anyone have any ideas?

connect the RCA jacks from Mag box to the TV, leave the HDMI connected.
In the TV menus, change the input so it's seeing them RCA connections. Now into the resolution menu and change that to 1080 and exit out...
Then back to input selection and change it back to the HDMI connection input.
Check results.

whenever this happened "unsupported signal, please check device output"
All what you have to do is:
1- Check your tV , because some tv's, even If they are or it said HD they might be old models.
2-Go to menu , and click on VIDEO, and that's when you change the resolution from 1080 to 720.
and It should work , I have done it and it works fine.
Just double check your TV if it is 1080 or 720
After you did that , unplug it then plug it back, or just click on reboot your device, and you should be back to business, Hope this will help you.
