Tiger told Nicklaus he'll play Memorial
Tiger Woods will play the Memorial Tournament in early June. At least that's what he told Jack Nicklaus, writes The Columbus Dispatch's Rob Oller.

"(Tiger) says, 'See you in May. I'll be at the Memorial.' So that's nice to have Tiger back," Nicklaus said Wednesday at the Legends Luncheon.

Nicklaus said he caught up with Woods at the Masters in Augusta earlier this month.

It's as much conversation as I've ever had with Tiger. ... He’s been struggling. We talked a little about that, but we talked more about his kids and events that are going on and what he’s been doing with his preparation. I've said many times, "He’ll be fine."

Nicklaus added that Masters champion Jordan Spieth will also be in attendance at the Memorial, which runs from June 4 to 7 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio.

"Most of the guys are going to (play)," Nicklaus said.

Woods has won the Memorial five times. He made his return at the Masters, finishing tied for 17th. He's yet to hit the tour since, and has given no indication which tournament he may play next.
