STB Emulator and T1 ?

I'm not sure if the package installer will allow an install of a 3rd party .apk. To try this, you would use the browser to download the .apk, then access the downloaded file through an app, like Kodi, then attempt to launch it.

Thanks a lot Dara :)

I am kinda newbie, what do u mean by .apk cause in google play there is the "
[h=1]IPTV Set-Top-Box Emulator[/h]

The T1 has a customized android OS, and is hiding what you can do on a generic android device. What I posted is a 'theory' as I haven't tried it. Usually if you could access the file with a file explorer of some kind, and if an apk launcher is installed, you may be able to get a third party apk installed. Dreamlink uses a 'market' for approved aps, so if they want, they can add the stbemu to that market, but I highly doubt they can do it.

I'd just not bother with installing the stbemu. If you don't want to use the DOL, use Kodi and either the PVR Stalkers, or IPTV Stalker.

It's kinda sad that T1 does not let anyone install Stb Emu or the Market in T1 does not have it ?!!
I just got the T1 box and I have no idea how to apply the MAC # on T1 with my subscription....unless, Can I change my mac number (from NFPS) to the one on T1 ?

thanks

Yes, you can just change your linked mac to that on the T1. See the instructions I posted in the stickies.

oh great :)
I guess I need to link and unlink my mac # and I am set to use it on my T1 :)
But, I think Dreamlink T1 should bring Stb Emu to the Market...don't u think so guys, just to have it there...I know we don't need it, but it's just good to have it.

Thanks,
