Rocket Stalker PVR no love

Trying to get the PVR working on RaspberyPi 3 with OSMC - latest Kodi.
Getting those darn "authentication errors" . I've been searching the forums and trying to follow all solutions - no luck.
It works fine under video add-on (I link new MAC and reset IPTV after using with video add-on.)

These are steps that I followed last - same issue (authentication error, retrying)

1. changed MAC
2. reset IPTV
3. configured Stalker PVR Client (default on Kodi 16 1.0.12)
Active portal 1
Connection Timeout 120
On Portal 1:
MAC - used ALL 6 hex including default 00:1A:78:xx:xx:xx
Server address - expanded and used tt not xx - hxxp://portal1.iptvrocket.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html (not sure about this one because I get the 22.iptvrocket but somewhere in forums found the link that expands to portal1.
Login and password - my donation number
cache 24 hrs

getting "authentication failed"

I cleared data few times , rebooted numerous times, disabled and enabled under TV settings - not working.

I have not used this MAC with video add-on Stalker. I would love to have that TV tab

Did you set the other credentials (serial number, ID 1)? Follow the instructions in the link below. Don't worry about configuring the guide until the channels load.

yes, I used :
guide - xmltv with the "yahya* " remote url, no token, serial is my order id, device id is my dev name (4 letters), device ID2 - 5 letters, and signature 6 letters.
I also tried (just now) appending the order number in device id making it longer than 13 chars.

After you reconfigured, you would need to do an IPTV Reset. Make sure Kodi is shutdown when you do it. Wait 15 minutes after the reset to restart Kodi.

Are there some logs I can look at on the client or server owners on the other end ?
I am not sure if there is any logging setup but troubleshooting should be as simple as I look at some text file (and provide if needed) - server admins look at a file or log (or make it available so I can examine it ) - just to eliminate simple issues like misspelled passwords and such .

For now I gave up and watching it on a regular video add-on Stalker Plus 10.2.4 .

ok to close this thread - I rebuilt my Pi Kodi from scratch again.
Followed the tutorial (again) but this time without a signature, and external epg custom info (per your recommendation to skip it.)
It's working ok now.

You should be ok to add-in the EPG information now. I wanted to get the channels loading first, before we had any other variables to consider.
