Speed needed to operate mag254

2 Mbps is fine for Standard definition.

Standard definition video (480p) works at 1 megabit per second (Mbps).
But HD video (720p) wants around 4 Mbps
HDX (1080p) more than 7 Mbps.

- 1000 Megabytes = 1 Gigabyte
- 1000 Gigabytes = 1 Terabyte
etc...

But some standards set 1 gigabyte = 1024 megabytes (1023.3 to be precise)

Thanks again for the specific info. I will print this out. OK have you heard anything from administration on the freezing problems on P1. I am trying to be positive as 2 days ago (that would be May 31) things worked fine and then freezing. I am hoping that administration will share good news with you, I am also thinking that if someone needs to change PLEASE list a step by step guide as you did a great job for changing the MAG number to get rid of the server blocked problem. A lot of us are not that tech smart and we need the step by step list - when and what to do. You always come through with great info so please again help us out.

Thanks for your help,
