saro gt5000 pro

Seems the Saro gt5000 Pro uses the Buzz4 or Buzz5 IPTV app, same as the X5.
With the Android 11 Operating System, same as the X5
Same features as the X5 and as well some other BuzzTV boxes.

So yes, it is powered by Buzz systems, but it is not the exact same as the X5 because the Firmware/Software versions are not up to date as per the X5 FW/SW
Firmware: V20220804
IPTV Version: 5.0.756

So that makes the menus and features the same except some lableing has been cahnged.
example: The 'Buzz Utilizes' menu is labeled as 'Saro Utilities'

You'd have to trust that Saro keeps up on their Updates or settle for what is currently onboard.

I did not compare the other specs that closely. but look similar or the same.

As far as device looks.
The outer casing is different. But the media inputs are the same.
The Saro does not have the two external wifi antennas.

Seems Saro got themselves an Android device with the Android 11 OS and are using Buzztv FW/SW, or their version of it, and have the Buzz4 or buzz5 app installed and are marketing it.

I do not know if the Buzz team are aware of this, or if they are partnered, or if it even matters .... but there it is.

Buzztv is aware of this since they wrote the software for Saro.

A question, are saro GT5000 boxes still being updated and using buzz/hybrid OS? Lots of ram and capacity but are/were they just flash in the pan?

not sure but that earie silence may have answered the question :)

They do have a website thou, which can be a good sign.
