I just successfully setup recording on a 2tb FAT32 AND NTFS USB 3.0 hard drive. This recording is ONLY through the area where you can add IPTV channels/m3u list. In the internal portal. I recorded a 20 minute segment. I tried both FAT32 and NTFS successfully.
***THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR STALKER SERVERS/PORTALS***

I also tested out "refresh rate switching". When playing files from a NFS server (local machine on my network) It displays videos in proper 24p. It works! UPDATE: See post below - refresh rate switching WORKS in Stalker portals too.

***UPDATE: Both NTFS and Fat32 work for recording. I will likely stick with NTFS to avoid the 4gb file size limit, and increase transfer/record speed.

***UPDATE #2: As I suspected, none of the 3 Stalker services/servers I tried would record successfully (as suspected).
Cheers

I did some more testing and have discovered that *REFRESH RATE SWITCHING works in Stalker servers too!* Most providers only broadcast 60p streams but some providers have some individual channels broadcasted in 24p.
Only issue is occasionally when switching between 24p stream and the EPG (60p), you may see a flicker on the screen or may see a black screen for 0.5 seconds. This will likely depend on your TV. I have an older plasma (6 years), so people with different TV's will likely experience this less than I do. I have only noticed it twice however (which is great).

But after testing, I can confirm that this is now working :)

Cheers!
