Random red light - Suspend/sleep mode

Since the December update, couple of my boxes randomly (usually during the night) go red. They power up without re-boot quickly so I figure they must be in a sleep/suspend mode. Checked settings per factory recommendations including BT off, no effect. Cheers

A couple of things to try that may relate to the cause of the problem;
- Turn off all CEC control functions on both the STB and the TV. (TV can be set to turn off STB(which might cause a fault))
* CEC settings on Android STB's, are usually in the Display section of the Android settings.

- What I read was there was a bug related to the BT remote functions and problem may not present if using the IR remote only.
* This may require a sys reboot to clear the code for the BT module.

All Was done/tried before including BT Off. Thanks
 
Well I have 3 of these 4500 and they all do it randomly, without being touched or played with cables.




yes i have two as well ....

did you try using a reusable twist tie to support the power cable ?

it honestly fixed the problem for me .

stb(s) used two xr4500 firmware used v20220106

try using a reusable twist-tie like i am above , and see if the problem continues ..... hope this helps ..... :cool:
