Possible to update my families iptv box from another home/country?

Hi all,

I am a beginner in IPTV, so do not have lots of knowledge about it.

I would like to know whether it is possible to gain control over the iptv my parents have in their home to install updates. They are 0 in electronics. ( Me and parents live in different homes)
