just got new numbers yesterday. Had both potato and vlc going perfectly. Then I tried to setup a friends iptv using the other number (I got 2 numbers on 1 order). I lost my tv and did not get my friends going. Been at it most of today and I'm not getting anywhere. The channels do not even load for the pvr client anymore either. What am I missing? I guess I'm wondering if that server is down.

You have to setup potato tv first before you turn on pvr simple client

I think I have found the problem. If you ping p1.iptvrocket.tv, it will time out. This tells me the problem is not on my end. Is there any way we can get this fixed or get hooked up with a server that actually works?
Thank you in advance....

The portal is working fine. Have you checked to make sure everything looks correct in the Donation Checker?

You might try fleshing out/experimenting with the address in your clients...
Code:
http://p1.iptvrocket.tv/
http://p1.iptvrocket.tv/c/
http://p1.iptvrocket.tv/c/index.html
Ot course, I don't if that is the issue. It is only one variable in the mix.

Ilan, thank you for your response. I have tried every one of those in vlc. Nothing works! It worked 2 days ago, but not now. Also did you ping: p1.iptvrocket.tv? It times out.....that's what vlc see's and that's why it don't work.

I just wanted to add here that indeed there are others with that server url with the same sorta trouble.
One guy seems to have narrowed it down to certain ISPs blocking the port, but I do not know for sure.

What I would do is take the receiver and your code to a freinds house with a differnt ISP or even just that different location, and try it there for results.

also... try with the full URL as Ilan shows it.

Ok, that make's sense. We are using computer not receiver's. Maybe I should try using a vpn?

You are absolutely right, I tried pinging it using a vpn and it went through just fine. I'm on comcast...just in case your wondering.

So now that we know that, that opens up a new problem. I got this memo from papiao when I received my numbers:
If our system detect that you are using your donation through a VPN, Proxy, Datacenter or in more than 1 device at the same time it will be automatically banned. When using MAC Address authentication is highly recommended to protect your donation by activating the Country or Internet Provider lock to prevent that someone else spoof your MAC to get unauthorized access using your account.

So it would seem that this server is unusable to me because it is being blocked and I'm not allowed to use a vpn. So what do you guys suggest?

the donation codes are locked onto your IP
When you reset , what that does is reset the lock to the IP.

So you can see how that would not work thru a VPN

I thought that rocket allowed you to change the server URL port thru the rocket checker site.
If so, then try that.

NOPE! when generate a new donation# it only changes the donation# the server stayed the same.

you could try sending an email to papiao, requesting a URL change.
I can not quarantie they will respond, but even sending the request should bring up some attention to this matter.
I know a few others have done so recently too.

Not sure if a server URL change will even make any difference thou
