NFPS / Private nfps still image

nfps stuck after 3 hours viewing. on pvr,kodi addon tested on windows 10 machine. android tv and box. you have to change channel back and forth to resume.
any thought or fix. plays smooth no jitter after 2 or 3 hours you just get a still picture. windows 10 machine 32 gigs i5 intel, android tv 5 gig . fire stick well you know. verizon fioz speed 100 up 100 down

The server team has it setup to time out and freeze every 3 hours to save bandwidth. They want to make sure there is someone actually watching the stream.

Yes, it's annoying.
No, they won't increase the timeout period. We've been asking for a year.

Many times I'll have to force a reconnect to the server because simply switching channels doesn't do the trick.

my box will do same thing every morning wife keeps tv on all night no biggie to go out and back in
