No Root required. If you have been stuck not able to install ES Explorer from Google play store then this will work. You will need a USB OTA cable to use a wireless mouse or a blue tooth device/remote that can pair to the Nexus Player and utilize the mouse/track-pad. You can use the same principle to just about any Android machine running 4.0 or higher. Attached you will find the PDF on how to do it, I wasnt sure how long it was going to get so this way was easier. All the files you need are zipped up and can be downloaded from:

Thanks, I have been trying to get the STB EMU to work with the Nexus Player and your tutorial was very helpful...success!!!
