Hi all
Glad to join the community, hope I can gleen some help.
I recently installed the Smart iptv app on my Lg smart tv from their app store and although all went well initially I have encountered a prob.
After installing the test version I did some reseach on creating a channel list and found great help on youtube and this site. So I went to pastebin, created and uploaded a notepad txt file to the iptv site which successfully transfered to my tv mac address. And this is my prob, after playing a stream for around 5 - 10 secs on my tv the screen goes black. The pic doesn't buffer or freeze it just goes black. While I appreciate that the links can be unstable I find it strange that this happens with links I have checked thru vlc.
I do not have this issue when watching Iplayer, 5od, nowtv etc. I get 90mb dload speed thru my provider although upload is pants but I don't see why that should matter. The tv is etherneted to the router.
Only fixes I can think of are;
1. Does this happen with trial versions of smart iptv software? I will happily donate to them but don't wont to if the issue will persist.
2. Is it the tv cache? How do u clear this on a LG42M620T tv?
3. Have I just chosen a raft of bad channel links?
If you can help I would greatly appreciate it.
Cheers
