You will know if you got the update.
When you go to live tv you will notice a little avatar B that flashes blue around it.

To change the player scroll down in menu to "Configuation"
Scoll over to "Player"
Change it to Beta.
Its done.

The update puts you box to version 1.6(114) and beside that has the update date.
Note when the update hits your box its silent...when its done is is when the message pops up telling you whats updated.

Version 1.6(114) updated then it updated again to Version 1.6(115)
I did not get chance to use the first update (114) but have the (115) working now.
I do not see that 'little avatar B that flashes blue around it' that is referred to thou.

This addition is great .... 'added new condensed configuration sidebar'

The Beta Player is working good for me as well :)

when you press live tv as it loads profile/channels you'll see the B with blue circling it

ohh lol, I see it.... the little Buzz Icon

The daylight shining in the house and on TV just the right way, I never saw the blue color and It never dawned on me before that that was a letter B :)

I saw where Buzz team said to expect bugs with the Beta Player.
I do see some out of sync audio/video... Hard to even notice it unless watching real close. And it may not be the Player.
Currently I am taking note of it on Beta and will switch back and see if any difference.

Yup, the 'jitters' seem to be isolated to the Beta Player and not seen with the Default Player. It is very hard to pick up on but the 'jitters' are there.
Using LiveTV channels now too and with same results thru both Players.

Other differences seem to be that the default player has a deeper base sounding audio and the color is a bit more pronounced then with the Beta Player
