Cant comment on mag254 but what I read its a proprietary box and not that flexible with using other addons that Kodi use.
Avov is android based box that can use 1000's of programs like your smart phone and KODI is the top one for multimedia. Their are a lot of Android based boxes so read up on which one is best for you. beware of the older models that don't have a quad core processor ! Stalker is a addon that will allow you to watch IPTV.

Asca, do you have a tvonline avov box?...if not, why are you posting in the forum for it??...if yes, you won't have any probs with setting it up and for kodi info, check out those forums here and also at kodi.tv....thks

Ok im sorry guys this is my last question sorry for posting here if i get a avov will it already have apps like movies on demand to watch movies the mag254 i was talking about that my dad got had has movies on demand it has over 1,700 movies plus his tv subscription will this have that or do you have to go to kodi.tv and get it or is that included when u get a subscription from lets say rocket or somebody else

Will this thing last the one my dad got said guaranteed for 2 years

What ever you do make sure the box can use Kodi. And if you have strong wifi at the TV the cheapest route is Amazon Firestick. There is plenty of youtube videos showing you how to set it up. Be sure to read up on this ! You must be able to comprehend a little technical know how.

If you going to use data cable the other cheap route is raspberry Pi 2
