Hi, I'm new to IPTV, and I'm glad I found this service. I just need some basic background on Private Servers.

I got Exodus up and running on my KODI Android Box no trouble, but my wife wants something that looks like a channel guide.

I tried DNA, and UFO, and the King. The guide comes up, but I have no content. The stalker app appears to be broken.

I don't under stand why the stalker app has the word clone or <obscenity> clone after it. I don't mind paying for a service, but I'm looking for stability.

I guess I have to pay for a private server. Any recommendations for a private server that has minimum down time, most if not all of the Bell/Rodgers Canadian Channels ( I realize a lot of this is just American network feeds)?

Also, why is everybody describing the payments as donations instead. Aren't these Private server providers businesses, and not charities?

Sorry for the Noob questions.

I moved your post to it's own thread, as it wasn't directly applicable to the add-on list.

Guides are not a strong suit here. For the supported services, the only one that was friendly and not actively stealing streams from the services was Ivue. They have their own support system based in Facebook, and were able to create the necessary channel list to work with their guide. Those guides you listed... they are defunct guides that were created by cloners and thieves of supported servers.

Almost anything with the name "Stalker" in it is basically a clone of what was introduced here. They were created initially to connect to any server running 'stalker' middleware, there are others servers that do use the middleware, and to connect to them, you use the built-in PVR Stalker that is available in Kodi, natively. The other add-on, IPTV Stalker, is a video add-on, not a PVR. IPTV Staker Plus, or the simplified IPTV Stalker Plus Lite are customized to work with the supported servers. Other servers do use their own add-ons, but we don't talk about them here, because the owner of the site doesn't allow it, and staff here enforces that rule.

As far as the supported servers go... the term "donation" is used as this is more like a hobby. You have to have lower expectations to have any sanity with it. They aren't running it for charity either, its more of a shared effort.
