New r19 firmware update - discussion thread

The new r19 firmware update seems to be working good!
Hopefully this will solve the issues with american and uk channels going down after 4:00pm PST.

Where did you guys find the r19 update? I went to the infomir site and couldn't find it

'Go to Inner Portal' option.
Then into the next Settings tab you will see there.
Then in there ensue it shows...
Autoupdate : With Confirmation
Update beta versions = On

Then use the green button on remote (update Manually).
Then with New Version slot highlighted, use the bottom left hand button on your remote (as pictured on that New Version slot). That function will bring up any and all versions available.

If not, then exit back to where the menu screen shows the 'Select a portal for loading'

It gives you chooses of Embedded Portal and your server URL portal and the System settings Portal
Go into Settings.
Then scroll the next screen down till you see the Software Update option.
Open that and it should show ..
Update Method : HTTP

URL : http://mag.infmir.com.ua/254/r2/imageupdate
New URL : http://update.infomir.com/mag/254/imageupdate

Then OK to verify....
Then Exit back out and into Embedded Portal and into Settings and back into Software autoupdate and the green button again.

don't understand why it works fine in the morning but not at night. Other boxes (different makes) working fine.

with this update i now have two channels not fitting the screen it looks like they are zoomed in on the left half of the screen the channels are 209 msnbc hd and 434 NESn HD all other channels are fine can soeone give me an idea if its me or not i checked all settings and they seemed to be right can someone please help

I think the issue is coming from the server end of things Scorpion.
Some have reported same results with the Dreamlink receiver as well.

Should only be temporary

Watching Movie stops and starts back 4or 5 frames at times continuously. MAG 254 R19

It is obvious that the R19 is having issues ,one can always go back to R14 seems to work much better .Remember one does not have to enable software update .

r19 has magic cast, and now you can add your m3u channel list as well with out going to inner portal

After trying r19 I went back to r14, Way more stability, Have tested this way for over a week

I'm running r19 on a new mag just to get a feel for it and it seems fast channel changing and doesn't crash out anything. I get reliable streams on most channels. Cant say I tested them all but I past a 72 hour burn in and so far stable.

Hi everyone i updated my mag 254 to R19 firmwear and now id like to go back to R14 but it dose not give me that option any more u use to be able to in the past any help would be appreciated thanks
