I see you place Jimmie in your pics dara.
Thats cool :)

This will be JJ's last race in a NASCAR Cup car.

It's been a great ride with Jimmie thru the years.
Seven time CUP Champ !

Jimmie was noticed by Hendrick Motorsports driver Jeff Gordon, who convinced owner Rick Hendrick to sign Johnson in the Winston Cup Series full-time for 2002, with Gordon as a part-owner of his car.
After finishing fifth in the points in his first full season, he was second in 2003 and 2004, and fifth in 2005.
Johnson won his first Cup Series championship in 2006 and with further wins in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.
He became the first and only driver in NASCAR history to win five consecutive championships! .... something that the King himself Richard Petty could not do :)

Them Cup Championships were not Jimmie's first.
Jimmie won his first Championship at the age of 7 years old !
It was in the 60cc class motorcycle races.

Seven time Cup Champion ties him with Earnhardt Sr and Petty, both with 7 championships as well.

It's been a heck of a ride Jimmie !!

crazed, if I could add on Clint Bowyer, I would have too.

Yea, Bowyer too. I will miss seeing him in a Cup car.

Here is something kinda cool about today's race...
In 1988 Chase's Dad Bill Elliott won the Cup Series Championship.
In that same year the MLB team Los Angeles Dodgers and the NBA team Los Angeles Lakers also won their respective Championships.

Do we know who won the MLB and NBA this year ?

Go Go Chase !!
