My Gica 1800

I tried to download the Kodi 17.0 Krypton from the
TV addons but it says this app is incompatible with
your device. Is this true and any way around it????

If you are still on 4.4 Kit Kat you have to update your box to 5.1 Lollipop in order to use Krypton 17. Go to the MyGica Forum and do a little reading and the file is there. I have the 1800 and have updated it to 5.1 and am running 17.

No play store for this. I'm sorry that you don't understand but if your not willing to do some reading on the MyGica forum I would say this hobbie is not for you or find a friend or someone who can help you. I'm not trying to be rude about this but all the info is on their forum if you take the time to read.
Ask your questions on their forum and one of there Mods can help you.

sorry I did a lot of reading, just didn't understand it all, we can't all be as GD smart as you I was just looking for a little help.

first thing , check in the android's System Info and ensure the android has 5.1 Lollipop or greater, as mentioned.
If not, then you would have to start with that and get that updated to newer android version (5.1 Lollipop)

Does anyone know if the mag tv apps still work and the Mygica 1800e

I used MagTV exclusively until a month or so ago when they did the change over to the m3u playlist option. When they made that change it messed up the channel numbers on the MagTV epg ie every top channel on each page of the epg was channel 1. The guide wasnt populating as well either so I recently have been testing with Perfect Player. While it functions pretty good it has its drawbacks too particulalry around the epg populating. I may test the standard STBemu 9.05 and see how that runs. Unless MagTV comes out with an update it may be done.
