Yes
So, after getting some freezes myself iv decided to install an external fan.
To see Cpu temp you have to ssh to your stb. So install PuTTy(or 'Mobile SSH' from playstore) SSH client and login (write IP adress of your device) as host to your Mag 256.
Login : root Password : 930920
Use this string ;
cat /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp
Before this mod cpu temp was 81 degrees ( it shows 81000) , now its solid 45. Its a 36 degrees difference.
If you want do do this do t on your own risk!
You have to drill top of your Box and install one Fan.

What you need ; 1) Case Fan ( Iv used Noctua nf-r8 redux 1200 ) 80mm. !!! Attention, you have to blow out the warm air not otherway.
2) Drill
3) Dustfilter 80mm
4) Screwdrivers
5) Power supply for a Fan

At the end it looks like this ;

Optional; For Power Supply iv used USB port on my TV because i wanna turn off the fan with all devices. Offcourse in Mag settings i have HDMI Event Reaction ON.
So from this USB port iv used also DC-DC Step UP converter from 5V to 12V because my Fan needs 12V(actually it starts with7v but whatever).

Happy modding :)
