I have noticed some limitations when playing video from external hdd. Some videos start with only sound playing, screen is black. Others have picture but playback is stuttering constantly. The stutter also varies with different video files. Of course there are files which are played just perfectly.
As far as I can count on my personal evaluation it's a question of video decoding. Some files are encoded in a way the MAG cannot decode successfully. But the question is how can I identify which video files are perfect for playing on my mag, when I download them from internet? Which parameters should I look for?
Another issue which I have is that I cannot load subtitles while playing a DVD image. they are just not recognized. But this I guess is a software limitation and we just have to wait for a fix.
