Can someone please help with this?

This is my 2nd mag 254. Donation and Mac address are good with 323 days remaining. I have reset the box 3 times now. Double checked the Mac address and server at 11.iptvprivateserver.tv
I have updated the firmware and do not see any problems as the other box works flawlessly. I have booted up using Nand and nand2 with no luck.
Now it goes to loading portal and the blue screen with the bar which never turns yellow.

I'm completely baffled by this one.

Any help would be appreciated. thank you

I am having the same exact problem too. I have set it back to factory, and even bought a one month donation. (My other donation wont register on checker) It will do the blue barber pole for hours, without turning yellow. New donation shows its running/current status ...UP.....I just dont get it. Do these boxes turn into doorstops like the old iks boxes?

Thanks for the help, I got this box two months ago and i've read ever thing i can find from any place i can get it, and i,ve changed things over and over and i still have that blue pole . thanks VWDoc.

I have been having the same issue with a box I have been trying to setup. I tried refreshing the MAC address with no luck. I will try it on another network later in the week to see if that solves it. My box that is already setup works fine here but the one I setup today won't get past the spinning barbershop bar

I tried refreshing the MAC address with no luck. how did you do that only has one mac address which you added right make sure that still good then check if you have right url and all should be fine

go to provider and select change Mac address and change it and submit.......return to the beginning and again select change Mac address and put in the correct Mac address and again submit it and you should be good to go.......have had to do this with 3 Mag 254/255 units in order to get them going again..........cheers.....ht

I have been attempting to get this MAG254 box working over the past few days on a different connection with the same results. My other MAG254 box works perfectly fine. I have completely factory reset along with clearing user data and everything, I have tried changing the MAC Address and back through the reseller panel and through the donation window with no change at all. Every time it tries to load the portal, it sits at the twirling barbershop pole and does absolutely nothing.

I don't know how the back end system works but I am wondering if there is a MAC Address conflict. If I use lower case letters, it says the MAC Address already exists. If I use upper case letters, it accepts it but it never loads the portal. Is there someone I can contact about the MAC Address? Because it is a MAG254, I can't exactly just change the MAC Address and try another one. The donation is paid and active and pretty much being wasted at this point.

Edit: It seems to be working! I guess I didn't wait long enough after the last change using the Donation Search page for things to swap back. That was the last thing I tried and it is now working. Anyone having the issue, please try using your donation number in the donation search on the Papiao site and give it about 10 or so minutes to make the changes. Then completely reboot your box.

Thank you to all who have contributed to this thread!

Just a suggestion...

Mine did the same thing. I tried everything and it was no go = blue barber pole. I rebooted it many times. I spun a dead cat over my right shoulder and invoked every evil spirit I could. Still nothing worked. I had been using a D-Link USB wireless that had worked just fine for months. In total frustration, I shut down the router, pulled out the damned D-Link USB wireless, hooked up a long ethernet cable directly to my router. Then I powered the router back up. When it was fine, I powered up the MAG. Son of B@#@&%$! It started right up and it loaded the portal just fine.

So now I have to tell you, I had to put it in my work room to get it close enough to the router. I wanted to move it back to where it was. So, in frustration, I got that USB wireless adapter back out and gave it a try. Wallah! Now that worked too! So, WTF? It was a network issue apparently. It had nothing to do with the server. It was all at my end.

I would still try the cable directly to the router. That seemed to break the logjam and get the bits flowing again. Turn everything off before you start. Power up your modem and router first. When it is all set (Maybe 2 - 5 minutes) then power up the MAG. See if that works.

When switching from Wireless to Wired. Did you go into the network settings and set it to wired and auto DHCP?
