mag 254 4 pin composite output

my tv does not have audio output on it, I have my 254 hooked to tv HDMI, my ? is can I use the composite audio output to my stereo too?

Is your sterio has a hdmi input and output. From mag to your sterio then to tv.

no hdmi on stereo,my mag254 is hooked to tv by hdmi, I would like to use the composite cable too stereo if it will work with them both hooked up.

If you have the cable, just plug it in your stereo and see what happens. If that doesnt work, run a stereo out from your TV to your stereo and turn off the volume on the TV. I know some of the TVs can only do stereo out under volume control, do it that way and see how it sounds.

If your stereo doesn't have HDMI then see about buying an HDMI to component and run the video to the TV and the audio to your stereo. You should be able to pickup cheap component cables at a thrift store and the same for the HDMI to component on eBay.

ok tried to use 4pin to stereo and hdmi to tv,just get buzzing sound in stereo,i don't have audio out on tv,and don't have hdmi on stereo.
