my MAG 254/255 was working this morning and part way through a movie shut down and screen says "Please contact your provider to register this device" I promptly went to Rocket site and checked my 2 donations and both say they are valid and have 317 days left.......I then checked out my box Mac address and Rocket indicated that the box Mac address was active and
running........I checked all other settings and they all seem to be normal......Has anyone had this problem and if so how did they fix it???? I am totally stumped at this moment.......thanks in advance to anyone that can help me with this one....cheers...frogger

Make hard reboot of the STB and the modem without playing with the settings if it worked before that should help. Then you can take advantage of new the software R12

The continuing Mag 254/255 saga........After several hours the Mag finally on it's own dropped the "Please contact your provider to register this device" and now after boot up comes to the flashing bar with a blue background and does not go beyond......I have re-checked my donations and both have 316 days left and are both active.........I have checked the software and it has auto upgraded to R12.......I have re-booted at least 50 times.........I tried the change Mac address and replace the address with the unit down also but still no go.........I'm baffled with this one so far....anyone got an answer??? .....thanks for help so far.........frogger
Maybe it's a plot against old frogger's.......or old age senility kicking in lmao
