The US lawsuit filed by Dish Network against TVAddons will be dropped after both parties came to a mutual settlement.
The details of the agreement have been left confidential after the developer of the addon promised expedition of the DMCA notices that were filed.
TVAddons founder Adam Lackman signed the agreement recently to prevent any additional financial damages.

A US lawsuit filed by Dish Network against the largest third-party Kodi add-ons repository TVAddons has finally come to an end in the United States. Both parties have come to an agreement which will put the lawsuit to an end.

TVAddons revealed that the decision to come to an agreement was made to protect both users and developers. While the exact terms of the recent agreement were not revealed, the addon’s developer mentioned that they are happy with the outcome. In addition, no user or developer information was handed out to Dish Network.

The addons website is still operational and has removed all of the infringing content. As part of the agreement, any copyright claims made by the TV network will be handled swiftly by the developers in the future. TVAddons founder Adam Lackman personally signed the agreement despite revealing that he resigned from administrative roles. While someone else is in charge of TVAddons, the agreement will hold legal ground and will be honored by both parties.

Dish Network filed a lawsuit against ZemTV as well, but developer Shani has not come to an agreement so far. Shani revealed that he does not have access to the financial resources to properly defend himself in a court of law. Despite the agreement, TVaddons is not completely out of trouble yet. A Canadian lawsuit filed by Bell Canada and Rogers Communications is still ongoing which has hurt the add-on’s developer financially and losing the lawsuit could lead to a fine of millions of dollars in damages. ...?!?
