If you will connect the MAG 257 to the Internet over Ethernet cable, is it then possible to switch off WLAN?

Today I received the new model MAG 257 Inform directly from the factory and I am very pleased to have this new toy in my hands.

Directly bought from Infomir in Odessa?
What Price?

Do you see or feel the better CPU with 1,5 GHz in comparison with MAG 254 and 650 MHz?
Faster loading?
TV channels more stable?

Wired Internet connections might seem dated, but the fact is that they are still prized for the benefits that typical wireless connections can’t match. Ethernet data cables have the ability to provide faster speeds than wireless versions because the connection is more consistent. This is especially useful for people who use their STB to downloading large data files from the Internet, such as videos and music.

There is a misconception that Ethernet connections are exclusive to STB. Although such STB are most commonly connected directly to Internet modems, you can still connect a STB to an Ethernet connection. If you have a both a modem and wireless router, you may choose to link your STB to the Ethernet only when you need to transfer large amounts of data.

HDTV may be transmitted in various formats:

1080p: 1920×1080p: 2,073,600 pixels (~2.07 megapixels) per frame
1080i: 1920×1080i: 1,036,800 pixels (~1.04 MP) per field or 2,073,600 pixels (~2.07 MP) per frame
A non-standard CEA resolution exists in some countries such as 1440×1080i: 777,600 pixels (~0.78 MP) per field or 1,555,200 pixels (~1.56 MP) per frame
720p: 1280×720p: 921,600 pixels (~0.92 MP) per frame

When transmitted at two megapixels per frame, HDTV provides about five times as many pixels as SD
