NFPS / Private Kodi crashes repeatedly before Stalker finishes channel load

Running Openelec 6.03 with Kodi 15.2 Helix and PVR Stalker Client

At Kodi startup the PVR manager start a successful load of the channels. The channels usually load in two passes each loading to 100%.

The channels will load the first pass to 100% and when the second channel pass starts to load, at about 3% Kodi crashes and restarts, and everything starts again the same way.

Hi,

Had a similar problem where kodi crashes when loading the channels.
What I did was disabled Live TV before it crashed.

Rebooted, and cleared cache and re-enable Live TV.

This worked for me, don't know if it will help you, but maybe worth a try?!

I'd clear both channel data and guide data.

System > Settings > TV > General > Enable (click to disable TV)

System > Settings > TV > General > Clear data (Yes)

System > Settings > TV > Guide > Clear data (Yes)

System > Settings > TV > General > Enable (click to enable TV)

Original Poster says... I had already tried every reset, reload, disable/enable, and upgrade I could think of. Then after 2 days , the number of channels loaded increased to 99% or 100% and then Kodi would crash, same as earlier post. Continued to load till the very end, and then crash.....THEN, (I made no changes here), everything loaded successfully, on its own, and has worked ever since.

The moral here is ..+ If your settings and setup was working fine BEFORE, and they are not working now (with reasons of unable to load, authentication failed, stream or URL not found)...
Don't start immediately changing everything on your system. If it worked before, it's probably something they did. Just wait till they sort it out..
