Is there a sleep timer/auto-shut off option for these boxes?

Sometimes I fall asleep watching TV and it runs all night long. I want to set a timer so the box will automatically go into standby after a certain number of hours of inactivity.

Is this option available? Where can I find it? If not, can it be implemented in a future firmware update?

Option to set sleep timer.
press red button on remote and it will show option menu.

but that for t1 should be same

Dreamlink T2 keeps the previous menu options and styles from the previous model. If you have owned a Dreamlink T1, you will find Dreamlink T2 IPTV Set Top Box very easy to set up as the previous unit; so you do not have to learn a box all over again so it should work i think
