wondering if anyone can help. I have emailed this person multiple times to release my mac from his server but he will not reply. is there anything I can do to get my mag 254 released

If you can not link it to NFPS because of this.... you could take a snapshot picture of the MAC address. Pic can come from either from the menus or the stickier on the underside of the STB
Post that picture onto a file host website (like mediafire).. then send the shared private link from that hosted file (the picture) to papiao.

Don't buy from resellers! Buy directly from the server guys and you won't get scammed. When you buy from resellers all you doing is asking to get ripped off period! Spend a bit more and buy directly... There are shady resellers out there who will rip you off and your money's is gone.. Kentucky of people have been ripped off so buy directly and then you avoid that issue!!!
